Heather primarily works in acrylics, although her first love and preferred medium is oils. In addition to painting, she works with mixed media on canvas and birch board as well as drawing. Heather currently resides and works in Los Angeles.

Her latest body of work since 2024 centers around fading memories, impatience, urgency, aging and grasping for control, which are facets of an overall theme of longing.
