A Pair of 1188 'Thin Line' Armchairs by Milo Baughman
A pair of midcentury modern 1188 '"Thin Line' armchairs by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin. Designed in 1970’s, these chairs feature Baughman’s signature style; thin, airy, squared off tubular chromed steel frames which support the seat. The seat pad, seat back, and seat arms have been reupholstered by The Selby House in a Holly Hunt cotton velvet.
About Milo Baughman
Milo Baughman, an American pioneer in modern design, believed design should be comfortable, functional, and accessible. To achieve this he relied on bold proportions, rich materials, and refrained from forms that didn’t meet his relaxed and timeless aesthetic.
