Charlotte Perriand Style Sideboard

A solid ash sideboard in the manner of the Bahut no.1 model design by Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret between 1939 and 1944. The body of the unit and details such as the curved handles are very similar with key differences found to the legs and materials used. This cabinet features raw aluminium panels on the front of both doors, which open up to reveal two sets of wide shelves.

The piece was found at a University in France and due to its age, we suspect it was made in the 1960s.

Materials: solid ash, hammered aluminum 

Condition: Good Vintage Condition. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading to the plinth feet. Minor scratch on top surface (see image 8).
