Cloud Sofa for Modernica by Vladimir Kagan

This curvilinear "cloud" sofa, handcrafted in America by Modernica Studios features smooth elegant lines with a graceful flair. The piece has been reupholstered in a Holland & Sherry wool boucle with new walnut legs.

About Vladimir Kagan
A German born into a Russian cabinetmaking family, moved to New Jersey, USA during WWII. Kagan approached each piece as an individual expression of an idea, composed and recomposed from the success of previously used design elements. His pieces are “vessels for the human body” and do not lend themselves to mass-production making his designs relatively rare.
