Large black geometric sculpture by Ken Bentley
Ken Bentley
San Antonio architect and sculptor, Bentley is a University of Texas at Austin graduate and continues to draw inspiration for his sculptures from San Antonio's most famous landmark - The Alamo. He often finds himself sketching in The Alamo's back garden and is intrigued by its overwhelming proportions, "The vaults are so pure, they have a profound influence on me ... those were the origins of our first architecture and that was how you had to build with materials."
