A Set of Four Dutch Vases, Small

A set of four hand-made Dutch ceramics designed by Henk Goosen and manufactured by Atelier de Steenuil, Rijswijk. Founded in 1947, Atelier de Steenuil produced many vases with drip and effervescent / lava glazes. 

Each vase has an owl logo marked on the bottom - Steenuuil means Stone Owl in Dutch 

About Henk Goosen
Henk Goosen, a renowned potter, was born in Kampen in 1924 and worked in the field until his passing in 1997. He began his career at the age of 14 as an apprentice at Willem Brouwer's pottery factory in Leiderdorp. Goosen established himself as an independent potter, working exclusively with a foot disc, and collaborated with the Gispen company.
