Japanese style Raku vessels featuring richly crackled glazes and organic surface variation characteristic of the traditional Japanese firing technique. First practiced in the 1500s, Raku pottery is removed from the kiln at peak temperature and cooled rapidly, creating one-of-a-kind textures, smoky markings, and imperfect forms that celebrate the beauty of craftsmanship and age.
