Ikebana is the art of beautifully arranging cut stems, leaves, and flowers in vases and other containers that evolved in Japan over seven centuries
About Justin Hoffman
Hoffman is a Bay Area ceramic artist and painter whose work constantly shifts between sculpture, vessel, and three-dimensional objects, and is heavily influenced by the ceramic artists in Japan. Each piece is made by hand and each form is created in the moment. He has studied wood-firing in Japan under two master potters and participated in a Noborigama firing in Seto, Japan.
